Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ Plus have a great feature that lets you multitask and run multiple apps simultaneously using Split Screen View and Multi Window Mode. You must enable this feature first before you can use split screen on Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ Plus.
If you are unsure how to do it, we will show you how to enable Multi Window View and Split Screen View on your Samsung Galaxy S20 or S20+ Plus.
Enable multi-window mode on Galaxy S20
These steps will enable Multi Window on your smartphone. It can be found under the Settings menu.
- Turn on your smartphone
- Navigate to the Settings menu
- Click on Multi Window under device
- The Multi Window toggle can be switched to On
- Multi Window mode can be made default by clicking the box beside Open multi window view
After you have turned on Split Screen View on the Galaxy S20 or Galaxy S20+ Plus, a grey semi-circle will appear on your smartphone. This semi-circle means that your phone has enabled Split Screen Mode.
Split Screen Mode can be used by tapping on the half circle. To open multiple windows, simply tap on the half circle with your finger. Simply drag the icon from the menu to the window. This feature is great because you can resize your window with the Galaxy S20 or Galaxy S20+ Plus. Simply press and hold the circle at the center of the screen to move it to where you want it to appear.
