Galaxy S20 Preview Message: How To Turn ON And OFF

Preview Messages is a feature on the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ Plus. Preview Messages is a feature that allows users to quickly see messages without unlocking their Galaxy S20 or Galaxy S20+ Plus.

However, Preview Messages can be problematic on the Galaxy S20 lockscreen and notification bar. It can show something you don’t want other people to see and can be frustrating to deal with.

There is an option to disable preview notifications on the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ Plus smartphones. Here’s how to disable Preview Messages from Samsung Galaxy S20 lockscreen and notification bar.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Message Preview

  • Turn on the Galaxy S20 or Galaxy S20+
  • Select Settings from the Menu.
  • Browse through the Applications section and choose Messages.
  • Select Notifications
  • Look for the section Preview Message.
  • Two boxes will be found, one with Lock Screen and the other with Status Bar.
  • Check the boxes you don’t wish the Preview Message message to appear in.

Once you have checked the box you don’t wish the Preview Message to appear in the lock screen or status bar, you can turn it back on by rechecking the boxes.

You would enable the Galaxy S20 preview messages feature if you want to keep your messages private, or if you receive important messages that contain sensitive or important information.
