One of the coolest features on the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ Plus devices is the ability to create a star option or “Favorite”, for contacts you communicate with frequently to be able to quickly access their information. Instead of looking through hundreds upon hundreds of contacts to find those you are in touch with frequently, you can Favorite the person on the Galaxy S20+ Plus. It’s even easier to use favorites. We will show you how to create favorites for the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ Plus.
For those who have used an Android device before, they may have already starred a few contacts. Here we will explain how to add the people you like and delete the ones you don’t want. Below are instructions on how you can set favorite contacts and star them on the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ Plus.
Star Favorite Contacts for Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+
- Turn on the Galaxy S20, or Galaxy S20+.
- Go to “Phone”, the app.
- Visit the “Contacts” section.
- Pick the contact you would like to be a star or friend.
- Tap the “star” within the red circle.
The Galaxy S20+ Plus also allows you to create and set favorite by choosing the name from your contacts list. Look for the star at top of screen once you have all the information. You can add the person to your favorites after you choose the star.
Samsung Galaxy S20 or Galaxy S20+ Plus by default won’t allow you to manually sort and place your favorites. Instead, all contacts will be listed alphabetically.
To remove someone from your favorites, go to the contact page of that person and uncheck their star. You can also delete the contact to remove them from your favorites.
