Mold Bomb Fogger – Does it Work?

First, let us remind you that mold is not an isolated problem in homes. A survey of US homes showed that 33% of these homes are susceptible to mold or mildew. Some estimates suggest that there are more that 138 million residences in the U.S. More than 45 million homes have a mold problem, just like yours.

Mold and Your Family’s Well-being

We have all heard horror stories about moldy homes. Many of these stories are true. Mold can cause allergic reactions, eye or skin irritations, asthma, and allergic reactions. Mold is a dangerous and unpredictable problem. Exposure to molds is not recommended for seniors, children, or anyone with a compromised immune system. You must immediately take action to eliminate mold if it is found in your home.

Mold Foggers

Mold foggers can kill mold and moldspores. Because these products are foggers they can reach areas you might not have access to with other mold killing products.

This fogger should be placed in the area you suspect you have a mold problem. You will need multiple bombs if more than one room or part of your house is affected by mold. Evacuate everyone and all pets. Simply press the tab of your fogger once everyone is gone. Within a couple hours, the fogger should have completed its task and the mold should be dead.

Is this the end of the story? But not quite!

While the mold may have died, it isn’t gone. There will be visible mold when you return from fogging. It’s not gone completely, and it might still be there. The fogging agent is a mist made of chemicals that acts as a rain shower.

After a gentle shower, the first thing you notice about the freshness of the air is the moment you step outside. This is because the rain has “washed”, the air has collected any pollutants and pulled them to ground. This is what a mold fogger does. It collects any moldspores in the air and moves them to your flooring. While the mold spores may have died, they are still present in your home. Studies show that even dead mold and its spores can cause health problems. Dead mold spores can still contain allergens or toxins.

There are no shortcuts

It doesn’t matter if mold is found in your home. However, you should have it removed. Was it able to reach beneath any carpets? Is there any active mold left? But it is not dead. It is not possible to use bleach, fogging bombs, sprays or bleach to keep your home free from the dangers of mold.
